These gorgeous pots are hand painted and sit on the daintiest of legs. According to my dad - these were a part of a dinner place setting where the little pot would be filled with salt and placed at each person’s setting so they could salt their dish to their preference. Unsurprisingly I saw an empty pot and decided to put a plant in it (whoops)! I made the leaves out of stained glass and then soldered in wire so that I could wire in the vintage beads (from my grandma’s collection) to be the ‘flowers’. I then set the plant in air dry clay to give it structure within the pot.
The bottom of each pot is labeled ‘China E-0H Hand Painted Nippon’
Measures approximately 2x3.5 inches.
Materials: Thrifted Salt Server, Glass, Copper Foil, Copper Wire, Lead Solder, Vintage Costume Beads, Air Dry Clay
