Boy Pincushion Glass Plant

My joy of thrifting knows no bounds and when I found this sweet boy statue with his flowers and basket I just couldn’t resist! The bottom of the statue is stamped Made in Japan and the antique booth tag had him labeled as a pincushion for sewing needles but the opening where the pincushion should have been was empty. In the basket opening I put a little leaf plant - the perfect trinket for a planty person! There’s even a lil chicken on the base of the statue - too cute!
