Monstera Leaf Cloisonne Vase

Sometimes I dabble in ceramics and when I do I love to find ways to mix ceramics with glass. In this case I used my monstera stained glass pattern to cut out a monstera leaf vase, then I scraped out the clay in leafy patterns to create divots where I put some of my cool scrap glass for it to melt in the kiln. The result is a cool green leaf vase with a cloisonne inspired glass effect. You can sit this piece on a shelf as is for decor or it has an opening in the top to be used as a vase - it is glazed all around so it is water-tight.

It can be hand washed or it’s also dishwasher safe. Measures approximately 3x3x1.5 inches
