I have ALWAYS loved to keep handwritten notes/cards/anything that counts as a little memento. This came from the idea that I was always keeping "snail mail" so why not make a snail to display it in?! The snail has two handmade clips to either hold two smaller items or one large card/heavier card. The snail shell is even hand-painted and heat-cured inspired by an actual two cent stamp - so it is truly a snail mail from start to finish!
This piece would look equally cute in a window but the more opaque glass that was used was actually inspired for this piece to be hung on a wall as decor or in a gallery wall or a place that you could read and be reminded of the keepsake it is holding.
